Christina & Jordan Bratman's Divorced Finalized

http://www.usmagazine.com/uploads/assets/articles/40355-christina-aguilera-jordan-bratmans-divorced-finalized/1302878661_christina-jordan-290.jpgIt was beautiful while it lasted.

After a mandatory six-month waiting period, Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman's divorce was finalized Friday morning, court records unearthed by E! News confirm.

After separating in September, Aguilera, 30, filed for divorce from music producer Bratman, 32, in October. The duo share a 3-year-old son, Max.

Last fall, the star rebounded from Bratman with Matthew Rutler, a set assistant she met while making Burlesque.

But even with a cute new guy at her side (they're still together), the former teen pop sensation famously unraveled in a series of very public missteps in early 2011: She flubbed the the National Anthem during the Super Bowl, nearly fell offstage at the Grammy Awards, was arrested for public drunkenness and more. (An insider told Us Weekly that she crashed Jeremy Renner's 40th birthday bash in February -- and was so drunk that she passed out in his bed.)

Those recent embarrassments are now behind her, Aguilera insisted recently as she promoted her new gig on NBC's singing competition The Voice.

"In light of the past year, there have been obvious setbacks," she told Us Magazine last week. "I've gone through a really hard divorce, and anyone who has gone through a divorce will speak about how hard the journey is from start to finish."

"It's a life-uprooting time and there have been hiccups along the way that unfortunately the whole world gets to witness and judge," she added.

Olivia Wilde Files for Divorce From Tao Ruspoli

http://www.usmagazine.com/uploads/assets/articles/39523-olivia-wilde-files-for-divorce/1299873019_olivia-90.jpgOlivia Wilde is ready to move on.

The Tron: Legacy actress, 27, filed papers last week in L.A. to divorce Tao Ruspoli, her husband of 8 years, TMZ reports.

Wilde cites "irreconcilable differences" in her court filing.

She and Ruspoli separated last month, her rep confirmed to Us Magazine.

Wilde eloped with Ruspoli -- the filmmaker son of late Italian Prince Dado Ruspoli -- at the age of 18, just six months after they met. They wed in an abandoned school bus in rural Virginia.

"It was Olivia's decision" to split, an insider told Us.

Added another pal: "Olivia got married really young. She's done a lot of growing since then, just like anyone would...they've just grown in different directions.""

And the buzzed-about actress may have already found a rebound in Ryan Gosling. She and the single Blue Valentine actor, 30, were spotted walking hand-in-hand at a Cincinatti aquarium last week.

Is Ashlee Simpson Dating Someone New?

http://img2.timeinc.net/people/i/2011/news/110321/ashlee-simpson-300.jpgIs newly single Ashlee Simpson already moving on?

A month after filing for divorce from rocker Pete Wentz, Simpson was photographed at an L.A. mall with another musician, Craig Owens of the band D.R.U.G.S.

But a source close to the singer/actress says reports of a budding romance with Owens, 26, – who is signed to Wentz's Decaydance Records – are just not true.

"Craig is a longtime friend and was comforting Ashlee during this difficult time," the Simpson source tells PEOPLE. "She's not moving on. There's no race for a new relationship. They're friends."

Recent reports that Simpson, 26, and Wentz, 31, are gearing up for a custody battle are also untrue, according to the source. "Ashlee and Pete's split is amicable and they're working together to make this as positive a situation for [2-year-old son] Bronx as possible."

"Right now her attention is on Bronx and some new work projects she has coming up. That's it."

So what does Wentz think of all this?

Says a source close to the rocker: "The only thing on Pete's mind right now is spending as much time with Bronx as he can before goes out on the road next week."

Ashlee Simpson & Pete Wentz Headed For Battle

http://img2.timeinc.net/people/i/2011/news/110221/ashlee-simpson-240.jpgIt appears Pete Wentz is at odds with his soon-to-be ex-wife Ashlee Simpson over custody of their 2-year-old son, Bronx.

The musician, 31, filed a divorce response Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court seeking joint custody of their child.

Simpson, 26, who filed for divorce last month, indicated in her filing that she's seeking sole custody of Bronx with visitation for Wentz.

However, legal experts say that because of the limited detail in divorce filings, it's too early to say if the couple are truly headed for a custody battle.

"We remain friends and deeply committed and loving parents to our son Bronx, whose happiness and well-being remains our No. 1 priority," the couple said in a previous statement.

Wentz's attorney wasn't immediately available for comment, but a source close to Wentz tells PEOPLE, "There's no fire. It's a very straightforward response asking for joint custody and fair distribution of attorney's fees. He's not gearing up for a custody war."

Single Ashlee Simpson Goes House-Hunting

http://www.usmagazine.com/uploads/assets/articles/39069-newly-single-ashlee-simpson-goes-house-hunting/1298066414_ashlee-house-290.jpgFirst item on Ashlee Simpson's post-divorce checklist: find a new pad.

A source tells Us Magazine the singer-actress, 26, has been crashing at her parents' place since she filed for divorce from Pete Wentz February 9 (the Fall Out Boy rocker, 31, has been staying at their $4.5 million Beverly Hills home) and on Wednesday she seemed determined to change that.

Simpson spent the morning house-hunting with a real estate broker in the Beverly Hills area, a second insider says.

"They drove by a few houses in the $3 to 4 million range," the source tells Us. "Ashlee didn't get out of the car and was quiet and subdued. At one point, she was going to get out of the car but when she saw photographers she decided to stay in the car and then went home."

One criteria for Simpson's new spread is that it's suitable for her two-year-old son Bronx.

"The homes were two-story traditional style homes in a family neighborhood," says the source. "One of the houses was just up from the street from Coldwater Park where she and Pete like to take Bronx to play."

Another plus, adds the insider, "The homes were also very close to [sister] Jessica Simpson's house, which would be nice for her."

Ashlee Simpson & Pete Wentz's Post-Split Lunch

http://img2.timeinc.net/people/i/2011/news/110221/ashlee-simpson-240.jpgAshlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are in the process of ending their marriage, but the former couple seem to be proving that their split is indeed amicable.

"They had lunch together today with Bronx at the Beverly Hills Hotel," a source told PEOPLE Monday, adding that Simpson is still staying at her parents' home in Encino, Calif.

Another source says the couple are not reconciling, but that their breakup remains friendly and being good parents to 2-year-old Bronx is their priority.

"They just had a meal together with their son," the source tells PEOPLE. "They're both focused on making this transition as easy as possible for him."

The couple – who pals say split because they wed too young, didn't have enough time to spend together and simply grew apart – announced last week that they were going separate ways.

Ashlee and Pete's Split: Early Signs of Trouble

http://www1.pictures.zimbio.com/fp/Ashlee+Simpson+Wentz+Pete+Ashlee+Brave+Rain+E4ncMf_ghNZl.jpgWedded bliss didn't last very long for Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz.

Although the couple's Wednesday divorce announcement came as a shock to many, insiders saw trouble brewing way back in June 2009 -- when Ashlee, 26, and Pete, 31, were married for a mere 13 months, and prone to explosive blowouts often punctuated by alcohol.

At issue? Balancing their professional and romantic lives with the pressures of parenting an infant son, Bronx, then 7 months.

At the time, the duo fought "constantly," and singer-actress Ashlee was "seriously considering leaving him," one insider said.

Things boiled over at a June 1 party -- where a visibly drunk Ashlee got into a nasty public spat with Michelle Trachtenberg, Pete's ex girlfriend.

Simpson-Wentz was "reverting to drinking and going out, because she is sick and tired of her life," another pal said. The alcohol was "an outlet for her unhappiness, and Pete is getting fed up."

After hanging out in the same social circles for years, the couple got romantic in late 2006 -- and raced to the altar in May 2008, when she was 3-months pregnant.

"Ashlee loves Bronx but jumped into marriage and having a baby too quickly," one pal told Us. "They feel they got trapped in a situation they were too young for."

In Wednesday's statement released by their spokesperson, the couple said: "We remain friends and deeply committed and loving parents to our son Bronx, whose happiness and well-being remains our number one priority."

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz Files for Divorce

http://www4.pictures.zimbio.com/gi/Ashlee+Simpson+Wentz+X+Life+Launch+Party+Omhuqr3OPrll.jpg

The 2½-year marriage of Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz is over, Ashlee's rep confirms to PEOPLE.

"After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to file for divorce," the couple said through a spokesperson. "We remain friends and deeply committed and loving parents to our son Bronx, whose happiness and well-being remains our No. 1 priority. We ask that everyone honor our privacy as we navigate this next phase of our lives."

According to TMZ, the divorce documents were filed in L.A. Superior Court, with Simpson, 26, citing "irreconcilable differences" and seeking spousal support.

In the court papers, which were signed by Simpson-Wentz on Monday and filed on Tuesday, it says the couple's date of separation is to be determined. Simpson-Wentz is seeking primary physical custody of their 2-year-old son, Bronx, with visitation for Wentz. She is also seeking to go back to her maiden name of Simpson and drop "Wentz."

Kendra & Hank Address Divorce Rumors

Kendra Wilkinson and her husband, NFL star Hank Baskett, are tackling tabloid reports claiming that the reality couple is on the rocks.

“You know, I can’t sit here and tell people, ‘Don’t believe [the rumors],’ because they’re going to believe it no matter what,” Kendra told Access at the E! TCA event in Los Angeles on Wednesday. “We say, you know, [we’re] just living our lives and you know, it’s up to people to do what they want with the headlines. It’s up to the people to do what they want in their crazy heads.”

The power pair certainly looked in love, telling Access that their love life has certainly not fizzled.

“Trust me… we’re definitely happy as ever,” Hank — who spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles and, most recently, the Minnesota Vikings this season — told Access. “From the day we met till now, it’s still the same. I told her, ‘Just get ready,’ I couldn’t keep my hands off her.”

Kendra and Hank have one child together, Hank Baskett IV, 1, but are definitely considering adding to their family – and performing a lot of “practice.”

“Oh for sure, we talk about it like, everyday,” Kendra gushed, when asked about the possibility of a second child in the near future.

“Practice makes perfect you know?” Hank joked. “You got to, you got to.”

Hank's Dad Responds To Divorce Rumors

http://www.radaronline.com/sites/radaronline.com/files/imagecache/350width/POSTwenn27910711b.jpgKendra Wilkinson and her hubby Hank Baskett just can't escape the divorce rumor mill, and the NFL star's father is sick of it, Radar Online has learned exclusively.

"It's a bunch of crap!" exclaimed Hank's dad.

Another source close to the former Girls Next Door star said, "It's a joke. There are no plans on getting a divorce.

"They're going to be out and about at events in Los Angeles."

The newlyweds have been fighting back at rumblings of a split for months since Kendra decided to be bicoastal and move back to Los Angeles.

Kendra's mom even told Radar Online in November that the couple's marriage is not on the rocks.

"The marriage is fine and they came to the decision together that they'd be both better off with him concentrating on his career and she could concentrate on her career here in L.A.," said Patti Wilkinson.

"They see each other when they can until football season is over then he's going to move to L.A. and they're going to buy a house and live happily ever after!

"It was the best decision they could have made and it's only a couple of more months before he's out here."

Joe Francis, Wife To Divorce After Seven Weeks

http://media.trb.com/media/photo/2010-07/54719468.jpg

Joe Francis is starting fresh in the new year.

The Girls Gone Wild founder, 37, confirmed the Us Magazine report that he and wife of just seven weeks, Christina McLarty, have called it quits.

“After careful and thoughtful consideration on both our parts, Christina and I have mutually decided to end our relationship," Francis told Us in a statement. "We entered into our relationship with love and it’s with love and kindness that we leave it. We wish each other the best for the future.”

A pal says the pair, who tied the knot in early November, have been living apart.

"Things completely changed in the relationship and it just became painful," says the insider.

Heidi and Spencer Pratt Planning Another 'Split'

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh60fwhh_8qwmQdsSx3m5mMNGF_7vuCacMxPE8QFX38G3Yi_UelXhKZIP_SpJ-YdVH5qKjMORZqNrH4aGFjt5TSNf1rV6fAsf6seJhSXsJkrIb0lvK7aT4Fl6bTdlUeCEqO-oI4AyvYl1nU/s1600/1.jpgHeidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are so shameless (and broke), they're reportedly planning another fake in the New Year.

In the past few months they've realized that no one really cares about them anymore and their star power died out a while ago, so they're going to try to stage another breakup in hopes of getting some press or another magazine cover.

A source close to the situation said, “He’ll cook up these schemes as long as he and Heidi continue to be paid. They’re telling anyone who’ll listen how seriously they’re taking their marriage.

“Their every move is calculated to earn money. But what they don’t realize is people are sick of it.”

So expect to see paparazzi videos and photos of them getting into a screaming match in public followed by another "we're splitting" scheme.

My theory is after they fake the split they'll pretend Heidi is pregnant and now has to be a single mom. These two are so predictable!

Christina Aguilera's Ex Won't Move Out Of Home

http://www.radaronline.com/sites/radaronline.com/files/imagecache/350width/caguilera.jpgChristina Aguilera’s husband Jordan Bratman will not move out of their home as the couple are divorcing, Radar Online has learned exclusively. Bratman’s actions (or lack of action) is complicating life for Christina.

“It is difficult for Christina since he won’t move out of the house,” a source told Radar Online exclusively.

“When she is back in L.A. she has to stay somewhere even if she’s with their son.”

Bratman occasionally will spend the night out of their home allowing Christina to stay there, the source said, but he simply won’t get out permanently.

Radar Online has also learned exclusively that it was Christina who pulled the plug on the marriage and asked for the divorce.

The reason? “She just grew up during the filming of Burlesque,” the source said.

The source added that Jordan wanted to stay together but “Christina had grown apart from him.”

Aguilera’s attorney Laura Wasser could not be reached for comment.

Christina Aguilera: Why I Filed for Divorce

http://starjerk.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/christina_aguilera.jpgChristina Aguilera remembers vividly how she felt as she signed the papers in her divorce from music exec Jordan Bratman.

"Things were so unhealthy and unhappy for both Jordan and me, I knew I had to end it," the Burlesque star, 29, tells PEOPLE in an exclusive interview. "I really didn't want to hurt Jordan, and I felt torn about splitting our family up."

The decision to end her marriage of five years was not easy for Aguilera, but she strongly felt she had to do what she thought best for her and Jordan's 2-year-old son.

"When you're unhappy in your marriage, your children are the ones who suffer," says the Grammy-winning pop singer, whose own parents' tumultuous relationship led to divorce when she was 7. "That's the last thing I wanted for my son."

Since filing for divorce, Aguilera has been out in Los Angeles and New York City with a new man, Matthew Rutler, a set assistant on Burlesque.

"He's the kind of person you could spend hours with on the phone talking to and all of a sudden it's daylight," she says.

Christina Aguilera Opens Up About Her New Man

http://www.radaronline.com/sites/radaronline.com/files/imagecache/350width/PacificCoastNewsAg.jpgIt's been just six weeks since Christina Aguilera announced her divorce, but the singer is wasting no time being single, already announcing she's in love.

In a candid interview with People magazine, Aguilera has opened up about her split from husband Jordan Bratman and surprisingly revealed she's fallen for another man.

The blonde star is talking about Matthew Rutler, a set assistant on her new movie, Burlesque, who she has been photographed with numerous times since her break up.

When asked if she is in love, Aguilera said: "There's a love there, yes. I'm having fun, I'm dating and it's something I haven't had in a really long time."

Rutler's mother, Kathleen, spoke exclusively to Radar Online and denied they were anything but friends.

But Aguilera has now revealed they began dating right after she filed for divorce.

"Matthew is a special person. We had a really strong friendship on the movie," she said. "He's the kind of person you could spend hours on the phone talking to and all of a sudden it's daylight.

"Once I filed for divorce, we started dating. I'm not trying to jump into anything. I just left a five-year marriage. I'm taking it slow and trying to be happy."

And she isn't ruling out tying the knot again.

"Wholeheartedly. I know one day I'll be able to feel that again for someone. That idea will never die."

Spencer Pratt: I Wanted Heidi To Divorce Me

http://www1.pictures.fp.zimbio.com/HEIDI+MONTAG+Mom+Shopping+Beverly+Hills+RcB512iY8Xpl.jpgSpencer Pratt opens up in a surprisingly candid interview about how he and Heidi are broke and practically homeless after they spent hundreds of thousands of dollars trying to "buy fame", how he sees no future for himself, and how he urged Heidi to divorce him to save his career.

Spencer tells ET:

"We felt the fleetingness of 15 minutes of fame so we were trying to buy, like, … Let's buy fame. Like if we could eat at this restaurant all the time, maybe we'll get seen with Mel Gibson or these bigger stars. So you know, we knew our positions, so we were having basically to buy into a tax bracket we didn't belong into."

"I know it's the dumbest thing ever spending money on things. But it's like, if we didn't, we wouldn't have got this post, or we wouldn't have got this picture in the magazine, and then we wouldn't be famous at all, and that's the only thing we had going for us at the time."

"I would say we were spending more than $100,000 [each month] on clothes for sure. And we would only wear them once."

"For me to think I was going to be famous and continue at that level of income on a steady basis, was … naive, egotistical, and just foolish. I can't have a long-range plan because I'm so hated I don't see anywhere I could go."

"I'm not afraid, I know it's a reality if we didn't have my dad letting us live in his guesthouse, Heidi and I would have no place to live so we would be homeless and we couldn't afford [to live] anywhere."

"As much as I love her, I was like, 'You need to divorce me to save any chance of a career, a business for yourself.' It's not fair for this sweet, innocent Heidi Montag to be part of Speidi. So really I was trying to divorce Speidi … ’cause you know I know I have no future career on camera, on TV, but Heidi, still to this day, I think could be the biggest actress, TV star, movie star, singer — she was born for it."

"I became this hated to buy things that I don't even have anymore. So I have nothing to show for it. Thank everything that Heidi has stayed with me through all of this because I wake up and say, 'At least I have Heidi. [That's] the greatest thing out of all of this.'"

Wow, he said a mouthful. Do you think this is the "real" Spencer or has he just decided to work this new more sympathetic angle to get some of his fame back?

Christina's Getting "Help Through" Hard Times

http://www.usmagazine.com/uploads/assets/articles/36853-christina-aguileras-new-man-helping-her-through-rough-time/1289240668_christina-290.jpgAin't no other man like...Matthew Rutlet?

Weeks after her announced split from husband Jordan Bratman, Christina Aguilera has been seeking comfort in a brand-new guy: Matthew Rutlet, a set assistant whom she met while making her new film Burlesque.

"They've been on a few dates over the last few weeks," a source tells Us Magazine.

Indeed, despite his attempts to hide, Rutler was photographed escorting Aguilera, 29, on a Friday double date at L.A.'s Soho House with Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.

But, cautions the source: "It's not serious. She's not looking to jump into a relationship right now. She has a lot going on with the movie and is focusing on spending as much time as possible with Max."

Wed in 2005, the singer and producer Bratman, 33, have a two-year-old son, Max.

Aguilera and Rutlet befriended one another while making Burlesque, and reconnected after her September separation from Bratman.

"He's been really good for her and is helping her through this diffcult time," the source explains.

Christina Aguilera: December Issue Of Redbook

http://www.usmagazine.com/uploads/assets/articles/36743-nicole-richie-newly-single-christina-aguilera-is-so-strong/1288723420_christina-290-2.jpgChristina Aguilera dropped heavy hints about personal drama in a Redbook magazine interview conducted just weeks before her announced split from music producer husband Jordan Bratman.

"Men aren't as strong and capable as we are," Aguilera, 29, says in the mag's December issue. "We're machines."

In the chat, the singer was effusive about son Max, 2, but vague and hesitant about Jordan, whom she married nearly five years ago. Alluding to emotional upheaval, she said she was eager to get back in the music studio and "pour my heart out and be able to release anything I'm going through."

The "You Lost Me" singer also hinted to Redbook that she was feeling restless. "My life is cyclical," she said. "I'm not a 9-to-5 woman who has the same kind of lifestyle for years on end. I couldn't do it. I need the spontaneity, that thrill of change. That's part of how I get inspired."

One big fan through thick and thin? Close pal and fellow mom Nicole Richie, who gushed to Redbook: "It's very clear through Christina's music what a strong woman she is...But to watch her as a mother only skyrockets the respect I have for her. She is the woman who's recording until 4 a.m. and up at 7 to be with her son. Her dedication to Max is incredible."

After news of her breakup made headlines, Aguilera opened up some more to the mag, and thanked her close friends. "There have been a lot of tears and sadness," she said of her new single life. "It's impossible to redefine yourself and your life overnight. Thankfully, I have my mom and a small group of close friends who are there for me 24/7 and whom I can trust and depend on. On days when it feels impossible to even get out of bed, much less function as a mother, their support and encouragement have kept me moving forward."

The December issue of Redbook hits stands November 16.
