Christina Aguilera's BF's DUI Charges Dropped

http://www.usmagazine.com/uploads/assets/articles/40383-christina-aguileras-boyfriends-dui-charges-dropped/1303056192_christina-aguilera-b.jpgChristina Aguilera's week just keeps getting better.

Two days after her divorce from Jordan Bratman was finalized, the L.A. County District Attorney officially rejected the DUI case against her current boyfriend, Matthew Rutler, citing insufficient evidence.

(Rutler, 25, was pulled over and arrested in March on suspicion of DUI; Aguilera was booked on a misdemeanor charge of public intoxication.)

Law enforcement officials tell TMZ that Rutler's blood alcohol content was ultimately determined to be .06 at the time of his arrest, which falls under California's legal limit to operate a vehicle, .08.

Aguilera recently opened up to Us Weekly about her troublesome year, which kicked off when she flubbed the lyrics to the National Anthem during the Super Bowl.

"It's a life-uprooting time and there have been hiccups along the way that unfortunately the whole world gets to witness and judge," The Voice judge, 30, said. "In light of the past year, there have been obvious setbacks. I've gone through a really hard divorce, and anyone who has gone through a divorce will speak about how hard the journey is from start to finish."

Christina & Jordan Bratman's Divorced Finalized

http://www.usmagazine.com/uploads/assets/articles/40355-christina-aguilera-jordan-bratmans-divorced-finalized/1302878661_christina-jordan-290.jpgIt was beautiful while it lasted.

After a mandatory six-month waiting period, Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman's divorce was finalized Friday morning, court records unearthed by E! News confirm.

After separating in September, Aguilera, 30, filed for divorce from music producer Bratman, 32, in October. The duo share a 3-year-old son, Max.

Last fall, the star rebounded from Bratman with Matthew Rutler, a set assistant she met while making Burlesque.

But even with a cute new guy at her side (they're still together), the former teen pop sensation famously unraveled in a series of very public missteps in early 2011: She flubbed the the National Anthem during the Super Bowl, nearly fell offstage at the Grammy Awards, was arrested for public drunkenness and more. (An insider told Us Weekly that she crashed Jeremy Renner's 40th birthday bash in February -- and was so drunk that she passed out in his bed.)

Those recent embarrassments are now behind her, Aguilera insisted recently as she promoted her new gig on NBC's singing competition The Voice.

"In light of the past year, there have been obvious setbacks," she told Us Magazine last week. "I've gone through a really hard divorce, and anyone who has gone through a divorce will speak about how hard the journey is from start to finish."

"It's a life-uprooting time and there have been hiccups along the way that unfortunately the whole world gets to witness and judge," she added.

Christina Aguilera: Healing After A Hard Time

http://img2.timeinc.net/people/i/2011/news/110328/christina-aguilera-240.jpgChristina Aguilera has a very important lesson to teach the contestants she'll be coaching on The Voice. And it has nothing to do with singing.

"The most important thing for me to do is talk about the ups and downs of my career and, in light of the past year, the things that happen on stage," says the singer, who's suffered a series of personal and professional missteps in 2011, including flubbing the lyrics to the National Anthem at the Super Bowl.

"At the end of the day, you can prove to yourself that you are strong enough to get back up on that stage," she told reporters Monday while promoting the new NBC show, which premieres April 26.

"I can laugh about my hiccups because I'm getting through it. I'm healing after a really hard time in my life. I've gone through a really tough divorce – it's an uprooting time."

All the more reason, she says, to throw herself into work. The upcoming singing competition series came at "the perfect time in my life," she says. "I'm revealing a lot on this show, and a side of myself that I think many people have never seen before."

So what can fans expect from the Grammy winner in her new reality TV role?

"We have three irreverent naughty boys and Christina is the rock," says co-executive producer Mark Burnett of Aguilera's fellow coaches, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine. "She is the voice of reason among those naughty boys.

"I've taken on the momma role," says the singer (and real-life mom to son Max, 3, with ex husband Jordan Bratman) of her place on the coaching panel.

Christina Aguilera: “Huge Supporter” of Britney

http://img2.timeinc.net/people/i/2008/news/081117/aguilera.jpg

While promoting her new NBC show The Voice with producer Mark Burnett, judge Christina Aguilera took time out to say nice things about fellow pop star and old friend Britney Spears.

When asked about sending Britney a congratulatory tweet about her her new CD, Christina said, “You know what I haven’t heard the whole thing in it’s entirety (Femme Fatale). I’ve been really hard at work on this show. I haven’t had quite the chance to go through the whole thing.”

“But I am a huge supporter of her in light of the fact that both of our careers started off together and are still going and going strong,” she explained. “I just think at this point in the game it’s extremely important to be supportive of fellow artists and especially females who get pitted against each other and torn apart. As an old friend of mine from the Mickey Mouse Club, I think it’s important at this stage in the game to show my support.”

Christina Aguilera "Can Laugh" About Messy Life

http://blog.kazaa.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/christinaAguileraRed.jpegChristina Aguilera is the first one to admit that she's had a rocky few months.

The singer -- who, within one month's time, flubbed the National Anthem during the Super Bowl, collapsed onstage at the Grammy Awards and was jailed for public intoxication -- says she's ready to turn things around.

"In light of the past year, there have been obvious setbacks," she told Us Magazine on Monday. "I've gone through a really hard divorce, and anyone who has gone through a divorce will speak about how hard the journey is from start to finish."

"It's a life-uprooting time and there have been hiccups along the way that unfortunately the whole world gets to witness and judge," she added.

The 30-year-old pop star -- and mom to 3-year-old Max, her son with ex Jordan Bratman -- said her recent slip-ups have been a blessing in disguise.

"I can laugh about my own hiccups and my own experiences in life because I'm getting through it," Aguilera said. "But I get to share these experiences with these people and I get to say not every performance day is going to be a great day."

"Sometimes you could be having the worst day of your life and you have to get up on that stage and you have to give to your fans in a way that they would never know the difference," she continued. "You have to lose yourself in that moment and you have to be so involved. Take yourself out of your own headspace or use whatever you're going through and put it into the passion of your song."

Christina Aguilera's Raunchy Pictures For Sale

http://www.radaronline.com/sites/radaronline.com/files/imagecache/350width/People%20Aguilera_37ba2556d81.JPGHundreds of highly intimate photographs of Christina Aguilera have surfaced, including candid images of the star at Nicole Richie's bachelorette party and in bed with boyfriend Matt Rutler.

The provocative images of the pop star were on a digital storage card found in a French hotel, Radar Online has exclusively learned.

Radar Online has seen 109 of the photographs, sent to us by a man attempting to sell Aguilera's private album.

He claimed the card was discarded in an upscale hotel room where Aguilera and Rutler had stayed.

Fifteen of the images were taken on September 17, 2010 at Richie's bachelorette bash in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

In what is a major security breach for the singer, Aguilera is pictured drinking, smoking a cigar and posing with Richie at the star's soiree, with flowers in her hair.

In one, Aguilera and Rutler are seen kissing passionately at different times and in various locations and laying in bed together.

Other images, that Radar Online has viewed, show:

* Aguilera with two naked men who appear to be strippers;

* Aguilera mimicking performing oral sex on an unidentified male who is holding a sex toy;

* Aguilera mimicking an oral sex act on a chocolate covered banana at a theme park;

It's not known if the images are linked to a hacking ring under FBI investigation that has targeted phones and computers of more than 50 stars and politicians.

Christina Aguilera's Make-Out Session With BF

http://www.radaronline.com/sites/radaronline.com/files/imagecache/350width/52845PCN_Kissing7.jpgShe has never come across as the shy type but Christina Aguilera didn't care who was looking as she packed in the PDA for a passionate make-out session with boyfriend Matthew Rutler, and Radar Online has the pictures.

The pair was spotted passionately making out in the back seat of a chauffeur-driven car as they left Il Ristorante di Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, CA. They were in full view of other patrons waiting for their cars and several photographers.

Christina, 30, and Matthew, 25, had hired a driver for the evening. Almost comically, he's seen sneaking a peek in the rear view mirror as the pair acted like naughty teenagers.

Matthew was arrested on March 1 and charged with DUI, after he was pulled over by cops in West Hollywood.

He is currently out on $30,000 bail.

Christina, who was in the passenger seat at the time, was also arrested for public intoxication but released without charge.

Christina Aguilera: It's Hard Under the Microscope

http://www.usmagazine.com/uploads/assets/articles/39634-christina-aguilera-post-bust-its-hard-under-the-microscope/1300305725_christina-290.jpgTwo weeks after being jailed for public intoxication (beau Matthew Rutler was charged with a DUI the same night), Christina Aguilera was in a cheerful mood while promoting her new show, The Voice, in L.A. Tuesday.

As son Max, 2, snuck Oreo cookies from the snack table, the singer, who will act as judge and mentor for the NBC singing competition, talked openly about the pitfalls of fame. "We're only able to be seen through the microscope of the media and what people gossip about," Aguilera, 30, told Us Magazine during her first public appearance since the headline grabbing arrest.

Yet the singer, whose recent booze-fueled outings have raised eyebrows, didn't let anything dampen her mood.

She yukked it up with fellow judge Adam Levine and played with son Max throughout the interview. Added Aguilera, "You take the good with the bad. It's by telling our stories, sharing our experiences and really giving a first hand look at us as human beings [that shows] who we really are apart from what we seem to be."

A lesson she's eager to pass on to the aspiring superstars on the show. "I am ready to share it all so I'm really excited," she gushed. "I hope we can find the next biggest thing. But I'm not looking for vocal acrobatics. I really sincerely want to be moved by raw talent."

Though, don't be mistaken, this isn't anything like those other singing shows, insists the star. "The Voice isn't about tearing people down," said Aguilera. "I want to bring people up. I want to empower them and give them all the tools I had. I love that I get to be apart of that."

Christina Aguilera's BF's Dad Is "Concerned"

http://www.allmoviesblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/christina-aguilera-matt-rutler1.jpgThe father of Christina Aguilera's boyfriend exclusively tells RadarOnline.com that he feels his son was a victim of circumstance, and he's worried for the couple's welfare in wake of their recent arrest on alcohol-related charges.

As Radar Online has previously reported, Aguilera, 30, and her 25-year-old beau, Matt Rutler, were taken into custody on March 1 after police noticed Rutler driving erratically in West Hollywood, CA. Rutler was charged with DUI, while the Beautiful singer was charged with misdemeanor public intoxication; authorities said they do not intend to pursue a case against her however.

"I just feel bad he got into trouble like this, but it could have happened to anyone," Matt's dad David Rutler told Radar Online.

"He really didn't have that much to drink, he just got caught.

"Matt was only like .01 over the legal limit... it's not like he was that drunk. There are drugs and gangs running rampant in L.A., and they have a press conference about Matt," said the distraught dad, who went on to express anxiety for the couple.

"I'm concerned for both of them. I hope everything turns out OK," he revealed.

"He has a perfect record, he has never been in any trouble. He is an excellent driver, I taught him to drive and sat next to him in the passenger seat as he drove to school everyday, he's a good kid!" explained David Rutler.

David hints that Matt got behind the wheel because he was looking after Christina, who the police described as "severely intoxicated."

"He's a good friend, he doesn't leave them (his friends), he's really there for them, he's a good person to have as a friend and will be that to her," said David Rutler.

Is Christina Aguilera A Repeat Offender?

http://www.usmagazine.com/uploads/assets/articles/39475-christina-aguilera-got-drunk-at-same-eatery-3-days-after-bust/1299710483_christina-aguilera-290.jpgChristina Aguilera wasn't afraid to return to the scene of the crime.

The new Us Weekly reports that on March 4, three days after a wine-drenched feast at Osteria Mozza led to her public intoxication bust, the singer, 30, and her beau Matthew Rutler returned to the L.A. eatery.

On their menu that night? Two bottles of wine -- and absolutely no regrets.

"She acted as if the arrest never happened," a Mozza source tells Us. "When their server offered them dessert, they asked for more wine."

When it was time to leave, "She seemed tipsy," the observer notes. (Thankfully, the "You Lost Me" singer and her set assistant beau stayed safe this time, and went home via chauffeured limo.)

Still, an Aguilera insider notes that the star hasn't changed her hard-drinking habits since her brief, "welfare-related" arrest. "She should see the arrest as a wake-up call, but she doesn't. She doesn't think things are that bad."

Adds another source: "She's nearly fall-down wasted nearly every night."

Britney Spears' Q & A Session With Out Magazine

http://www.usmagazine.com/uploads/assets/articles/39455-what-britney-spears-thinks-of-christina-aguilera/1299693202_1299689049_brit-290.jpgBritney Spears' old pop rival and Mickey Mouse Club peer Christina Aguilera has been in the news for all the wrong reasons lately.

What does the mother of two -- who's happy with low-key beau Jason Trawick and about to drop a new album (Femme Fatale) -- think of her fellow former teen star?

"Truly talented," Spears, 29, judiciously tells the new Out magazine. In jaw-dropping photos in the mag, the "Hold It Against Me" singer shows off her bod -- and crotch tattoos! -- in a sexy leotard. (Check out more pics of Britney at Out.com.)

In the Q&A -- conducted via email -- Spears sounds off to Out on a laundry list of topics.

"I'm excited to be out of my 20s," she says. "When it's time to pull and tuck, I'm sure I will consider it."

Her idea of hell: "Being on a diet." Heaven? "A trip with my kids."

And the former child star once harbored dreams other than superstardom, she claims. "I was in seventh grade and it was career day and I remember thinking that I wanted to be an entertainment lawyer. I always knew I would be in this business somehow. I think this path worked out way better!"

And although her biggest phobia is flying ("because I'm not in control"), she says she'd like to be reincarnated as a "bird." See more shots from Britney's Out interview.

When did the sexy star first learn about the birds and the bees? "When I was 12 years old. From my mom. I was confused and disgusted."

And the worst career advice ever could have changed pop music history! "Someone once told me that the '...Baby One More Time' video should be me as a superhero fighting a giant robot monster."

The new issue of Out hits stands March 29.

Christina Aguilera Selling 'Osbourne' Home

http://x17online.com/The-Osbournes-house-1inset.jpg

TMZ has learned ... Christina Aguilera has quietly put her home on the market -- the home she bought from Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne -- for $13.5 million.

Aguilera's move comes just weeks after her divorce from Jordan Bratman, and a week after her arrest for public intoxication.

Aguilera bought the 8,900 square foot house near the border of Bev Hills for around $11 million in 2008.

Christina Aguilera Hit Stolen From 'Moon People'

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh37XvFbnd3pOmxSsolfdp9sjEfTvURG95GN443gX8iPghOzQsENuXAC7Bx47fnZ-DJ761lTcseEfJVzf9N6aMIN1R8zdhcROBRVt_1cHPjEOBHwFkFcHghLPeun6FtvHy3XZggT-1MJi9Z/s1600/22.png

If Christina Aguilera's hit "Ain't No Other Man" sounds like a classic, that's because its infectious beat comes from a 43-year-old song -- and a new lawsuit claims Sony Music hasn't paid the rightful owner for the sample.

Take a listen (click here) ... Christina's song clearly samples from a 1968 latin soul tune called "Hippy Skippy Moon Strut"(aka "I'll Be a Lucky Man) by Dave Cortez and the Moon People. Gotta love that name.

According to the federal lawsuit, filed in New York, TufAmerica purchased exclusive rights to 'Hippy Skippy' in 2004 ... however Sony Music -- Christina's label -- made a deal with Codigo Music and the Clyde Otis Music Group to use the song.

TufAmerica is asking the court to declare it the rightful owner of the groovy '60s hit ... and to void the other publishers' claims on the song. The company also wants damages -- as in money.

Christina Aguilera To Coach Talent On The Voice

http://img2.timeinc.net/people/i/2010/features/insider/101108/christina-aguilera-240.jpgChristina Aguilera is putting that voice to good use.

The Grammy winner has just been named as a musician coach on NBC's new musical competition series The Voice, which premiers April 26.

"I am so excited to be part of such a wonderful project that celebrates music and the talent behind it," Aguilera, who joins coaches Cee Lo Green and Maroon 5's Adam Levine, said of the role. "To be given the opportunity to help shape new artists' careers and mentor them to see their dreams come to fruition is a task I welcome with open arms."

NBC executives say the singer's talent was what caught their eye. "Christina has a once in a generation talent – her voice is phenomenally distinctive and instantly recognizable," Paul Telegdy, Executive Vice President of Alternative Programming at NBC and Universal Media Studios said of the appointment. "Her journey as an artist, who started so young in the music business, will be an inspiration to the talent she coaches on the show."

The news comes on the heels of a challenging week for the singer. She was jailed by police for public intoxication early Tuesday morning before later being released, while her boyfriend, Matt Rutler, was also arrested for investigation of DUI.
