Making a grand entrance at the 2009 Video Music Awards, Lauren Conrad was spotted hamming it up on the red carpet outside Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

The Hills babe looked lovely as she posed for the paparazzi in a black and white printed dress with a deep v-neckline and black heels.

Miss Conrad joins a flock of celebrities in the house for tonight’s festivities, including Beyonce Knowes and Jay-Z, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner.

In addition, stars like Lady GaGa, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Green Day, and Janet Jackson are all slated to perform.
