Chelsea Kane: Dating LC's Ex Stephen Colletti

 http://www.accesshollywood.com/content/images/143/230x306/143770_chelsea-kane-and-stephen-colletti-attend-the-gifting-services-suite-honoring-dancing-with-the-stars-.jpghttp://imgs.sfgate.com/blogs/images/sfgate/dailydish/2011/02/07/Conrad260x388.jpg

Lauren Conrad's ex boyfriend Stephen Colletti is dating Chelsea Kane, the Dancing with the Stars cutie, 22, tells Us Weekly.

"We were set up on a blind date by my manager," she says.

It turns out the dancer has been a fan of the 25-year-old One Tree Hill actor since his days with LC on MTV's Laguna Beach.

A source close to the dancer tells Us, "She tore his photo out of a magazine to show friends!"

Lauren Conrad: "I'm Not A Sexy Person"

http://www.usmagazine.com/uploads/assets/articles/40233-lauren-conrad-im-not-a-sexy-person/1302545209_lauren-conrad-290.jpgPlenty of men might beg to differ with what Lauren Conrad tells May's Allure Magazine.

"I'm not a sexy person," The Hills star, 25, said. "I'm OK with it. I've never been the sexy girl. Whenever I've had a boyfriend, he's always been like, 'Oh, you're cute.'"

But LC admits there have been plenty of times she doesn't even feel cute, especially when it comes to stories about her fluctuating weight.

"You're the first person to notice any weight gain or loss, and then to have it pointed out can be embarrassing," she says. "You have two good angles and a hundred bad ones. I've seen photos of myself and cringed, 'Oh, God, I can never wear those pants again!'"

In fact, the reality star and writer, who's been dating actor Kyle Howard for nearly two years, has devised a plan for those incidents. Conrad now wears skinny jeans with high heels to elongate her legs and she always carries a giant handbag.

"If I'm shopping and I see paparazzi, my bag goes directly to my thighs," she says.

But while Conrad might have some self-esteem issues, she says she'd never consider going under the knife like pal Heidi Montag, who had more than 10 procedures including breast augmentation, liposuction, and a nose job.

"I saw the magazine just like everybody else," she says. "I don't think this is a happy story at all, there's just no right answer there."

Would she like to take back and on camera moments?
“I was always a little bit embarrassed when I would be drunk on camera.”

On her body issues:
“It wasn’t ‘Lauren Debuts Her Line’; it was ‘Lauren Debuts a Fuller Figure,’ and I was like, ‘Oh, no!’ because I’d put on a few pounds. If I’m shopping and I see paparazzi, my bag goes directly to my thighs.”

In a mass of lovely bikinis, cover ups, shorts and sunhats (she looks so lovely!), the former Hills star turned fashion designer takes us on a sneak peak at her shoot, and shares a few secrets...

Lauren Conrad Lands Mega 3-Book Deal!

http://www.usmagazine.com/uploads/assets/articles/40081-lauren-conrad-next-lead/1302026890_lc-290.jpgA new chapter for LC!

Lauren Conrad -- whose debut teen novel, L.A. Candy, hit No. 1 on a New York Times bestseller list -- just scored another three-book deal with HarperCollins, she tells Us Magazine exclusively.

Called The Fame Game, the Hills alum's upcoming trilogy is set in the reality TV universe, and features Madison Parker, an ambitious, ruthless character from the L.A. Candy series who's ready to become a star in her own right. In her way? Backstabbing family friends, dogged paparazzi and one media scandal after the next!

"We took the mean girl of the [L.A. Candy books], spinning her off," Conrad, 25, tells Us of The Fame Game's tough protagonist Madison.

"This series is about a girl who loves everything that fame is, and that's all she's ever really wanted," Conrad explains. "[Madison] has fun with the press, she enjoys the attention, she welcomes scandal!"

If Madison sounds familiar (Heidi Montag, perhaps?), Conrad assures Us her characters aren't based on anyone real. "No. We have fun with it! We kind of take [Hollywood] stereotypes.

With a clothing empire to run as well (her third line debuts this fall), when does Conrad write?

"Between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m.," Conrad tells Us. "My phone doesn't ring, and there's nothing on TV!"

Is Conrad's longtime beau, actor Kyle Howard, an L.A. Candy devotee? "He read my first book, which was very sweet," Conrad says, laughing. "I told him he didn't have to read the rest. "I don't think he's the target market!"

Lauren Conrad Show Intro Blocked By Viacom

http://cdn2-b.examiner.com/sites/default/files/styles/image_full_width/hash/a7/6d/a76d5b5073ce5588e6f1e4ea268afa20.jpg

Lauren Conrad's intro to her cancelled reality show has now been blocked by MTV's parent company, Viacom, citing it was due to copyright grounds.

Lauren's stop-motion animated intro was just released two weeks ago with an overwhelming response from LC fans and curious viewers of what could've been.

Not only is it blocked on YouTube where it first surfaced, but it's also been removed from Angela + Ithyle's website, the company that created Lauren's intro.

It looks like Viacom is laying the hammer down on Lauren Conrad, or any cultural influence that Lauren left on MTV plus pop culture as well.

Lauren Conrad’s Beverly Hills Pit Stop

Taking a moment to refuel her vehicle, Lauren Conrad was spotted at a gas station in Beverly Hills yesterday (March 29).

The former “Hills” babe looked to be in a hurry as she strolled out of the convenience store, sporting a grey top, black shorts, and grey sneakers.

Lauren Conrad Talks Style, Designing For Kohl's

http://communityvoices.sites.post-gazette.com/images/stories/s_sudar/01LC.jpgTo some, Lauren Conrad might be just another reality television star turned celebrity. But, at 25 years-old, she has accomplished more than most.  Among staring in the MTV reality shows Laguna Beach and The Hills, Lauren is a New York Times bestselling author and a fashion designer with a collection in Kohl’s stores nationwide.

Lauren studied fashion at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in California.  In addition, she interned at the magazine, Teen Vogue, and worked at  the PR firm, People’s Revolution.  In the Fall of 2009, Lauren partnered with Kohl’s and launched the LC Lauren Conrad collection for women.  The line was carried in a select 300 Kohl’s stores before being released nationwide in the Spring of 2010.

The Spring 2011 line is the fourth collection to be released at Kohl’s and is reflective of Lauren's personal style.  Pieces in the collection include elegant, flowery dresses and light-weight knits in soft tones of coral, pinks and creams.

Lauren opened up to me about the inspiration for designing the Spring 2011 collection for Kohl’s, as well as influences on her personal style.  This is what she has to say.

SS:  Where do you find inspiration for designing your fashion collections?
LC: I want my designs to be representative of my personal style and incorporate things that I find beautiful, like flowing fabrics and feminine floral prints. I work to create pieces that can stand alone or be mixed and matched to complement a number of different looks, allowing anyone who wears the clothes to enhance their wardrobes each season without having to sacrifice style for savings.

SS: What is your favorite piece in the Spring 2011 collection?
LC: I recently expanded my apparel collection to include shoes, jewelry and  other accessories, so my favorite accessory is the Zander platform sandal.  The wooden platform detail is very reminiscent of the ‘70s and the neutral color allows them to work with a variety of outlets.

SS: Even though I am sure you can shop among the best designers, do you wear pieces from your own collections for Kohl’s?
LC: Absolutely! Being able to wear the styles I create is one of the best parts of being a designer. The look of the LC Lauren Conrad collection is representative of what I want to wear each season.

SS: Like me, you were also born in the 1980s.  What is one look that you sported then that would get you on a worst dressed list now?
LC:  Those parachute pants that MC Hammer wore. Those were not the most flattering.

SS: If you had to wear one outfit for the rest of your life, what would it be?
LC: Dresses. I love them because they are so versatile and can easily be dressed-up or down by adding the right accessories.

The LC Lauren Conrad collection is available in Kohl’s store and online at www.kohls.com.

Lauren Conrad's Scrapped Reality Show Intro

Her fans desperately want to see her back on the airwaves and, although Lauren Conrad's new reality show hasn’t found a home just yet, the previously planned series' intro has been released.

Back in February, MTV dropped the program as it was allegedly “too high brow” for the channel’s audience.

While she's still shopping it around, the former “Hills” star's new offering focused solely on her work as a fashion designer - not her personal life.

The intro shows Ms Conrad in a claylike animation transitioning from a horde of paparazzi to rolls of strings and a large cloth morphing into a dress wrapped around her body.

Stephanie Pratt Talks About New Reality Show

Stephanie Pratt isn’t done with reality television. She recently signed a deal with reality show producer Bunim-Murray to create a brand new show that she says will be anything but typical. She revealed to Hollywood Life at the Genesis Awards her BFFs, Lauren Conrad and Lo Bosworth, from The Hills might join her on the show.

Since wrapping up The Hills in 2010, Stephanie, 24, has been working on her own purse line – which she began sketching at 14 years old. Check out our exclusive interview below to find more about her style inspirations and reality show!

Lauren Conrad At Voyeur Nightclub With Friends

 http://celebrity-gossip.net/sites/default/files/imagecache/fullsize_image/images/l/lc-031011-1.jpg

Kicking off her weekend a bit early, Lauren Conrad was spotted enjoying an evening out in West Hollywood last night (March 10) with friends Frankie Delgado and Kevin Todd.

The “Sweet Little Lies” hottie looked a bit preoccupied as she chatted away on her mobile phone while the paparazzi looked on.

Lauren Conrad Touches Down At LAX Airport

Lauren Conrad tried out the geek-chic glasses trend as she made her way out of LAX last night.

She recently took a trip to NYC to debut Paper Crown at ENK Coterie, though she apparently won't be wearing any of the looks until the trade shows are over due to her bad habit of spilling on the samples.

LC should be fine without access to the dressed-up line, though, since she looks equally as cute when she goes casual and also has her Kohl's collection to pull from.

Lauren Conrad's New Kohl's Spring Collection

With another range of designs ready to hit store racks, Lauren Conrad has offered up a behind the scenes look at her new Kohl's Spring 2011 Collection.

The former MTV reality star joined ET to preview the goods, as she continues to expand her partnership with the retail outlet - adding a line of sunglasses, jewelry offerings and her solely-funded Paper Crown contemporary collection.

Of the Paper Crown efforts, LC told press, "I know how important branding is, so it feels very cohesive, and very much like me."

Included in the offerings are a tiered maxi dress and cropped leather jacket, of which Miss Conrad said, "It's a very romantic dress, but the jacket toughens it up a bit."

A little bit pricier than her other items, Lauren assures potential buyers that the costs won't be overwhelming, as she tells, "Nothing is overly trendy. We want these pieces to be in people's closets for a long, long time."

Lauren Conrad Now Offers Shoes At Kohl's

http://cdn2-b.examiner.com/sites/default/files/styles/image_full_width/hash/a2/64/Picnik%20collage_19.jpgLauren Conrad has introduced a new line of shoes with the LC Lauren Conrad Collection at Kohl's, inspired by the many shoe styles Lauren wears.

Those styles consist of platform sandals, ballet flats, Gwin Espadrilles, peep-toe high heels, and yes, a black swede traditional high heel, Lauren's favorite style of all.

Lauren's shoe line is priced anywhere from $54.99 to $64.99, but are on sale at Kohl's from $36.99 to $44.99, so many young girls won't feel a pocket pinch either way.

The shoes come in great solid colors such as beige, brown, black, and ballet pink, plus a meeting of black straps with wood-colored platforms.

Lauren Conrad's Spring collection are also available at Kohl's that too consist of many styles ranging from pastel overcoats to dusty pink blazers.

And Lauren unveiled her new Paper Crown collection at NYC Fashion Coterie just this Sunday, where it's a wholly-funded effort by LC herself.

Spencer Pratt Weighs In On Lauren's Cancelation

http://s11.bdbphotos.com/images/orig/b/w/bwhdmqjxp7y5y7j.jpgSpencer Pratt has some harsh words for his former The Hills cast member Lauren Conrad.

He tells RumorFix in an exclusive interview that the reason her pilot was recently dropped by MTV is because "she's boring."

Lauren released a statement saying that MTV passed on the show about her fashion career because it was too "high brow" and they wanted her to put more of her personal life in the show, but Spencer says that would not have helped.

"We watched 70 episodes of your personal life on The Hills -- It was boring!" he says.

Mr. Heidi Montag has some more advice for Lauren: "The goal is to be entertained not watch an infomercial of your clothing line."

He says when taping The Hills, producers often asked him to save the day. "With one minute of Spencer Pratt trying to make the craziest antics and drama on The Hills, it was still almost impossible for people to watch because she was so boring."

He says the sad part is that Lauren's real life persona is far more interesting than the one she shared on TV.

"In real life Lauren is a bigger ho than Snooki or any of the girls on Jersey Shore. She was always making out with guys on the dance floor and being all sloppy drunk. They just edited it out to make her look like this Mary Tyler Moore character."

Lauren now says several other networks are looking at her pilot.

Lauren Conrad's New Line; Biggest Hair Regrets

http://blog.allure.com/beauty/blogs/reporter/lauren-conrad-paper-crown.jpgWhile at Coterie, the fashion trade show at New York City's Pier 94, mentally assembling our dream wardrobe this weekend (Theory pants, Elizabeth and James jacket...), we noticed a booth coming up on our left that had boutique buyers circling like sharks. It was Paper Crown, Lauren Conrad's new (non-Kohl's) fashion line. Conrad herself was there to explain the line, wearing high-waisted leather shorts from the collection and '60s winged liner. We chatted with her about her favorite Paper Crown look and her all-time beauty hits and hair color misses.

Why the name Paper Crown? When I was little I used to go to my grandmother's and we would always play dress-up; but when I would go there, I wouldn't have my dress-up trunk with me, so we'd make these paper crowns. That was our way of creating our own glamour—and that's what we wanted the line to be like.

Do you have a favorite piece? I love the tiered dresses.

How would you wear your hair and makeup with one? Well, it depends on where I'm going and how I'm accessorizing it—but I would probably wear my hair down, because it's a chiffon dress and it's flowy, and I'd go for a more natural makeup look.

What's the one makeup item you have to wear everyday? If I can only put one thing on, mascara. I bet that's everyone's answer! I wear Maybelline New York Full 'N Soft mascara.

You've been rocking darker hair recently I usually change the color a little bit, every two and half months I go in [to Chris McMillan Salon]; it's always really subtle changes.

So you're never going extreme—no fire engine red for you? No! Actually, my hairdresser is a redhead and she pulls it off amazingly. But no, I tried red hair in high school and it did not look good on me. It was more a maroon.

What made you go for that at the time? Oh, when I was in high school, on Friday nights I used to dye my hair out of a box. It was something to do. I would just get bored, I guess.

And how long did the maroon hair last? Not very long! It was a red-brown that had turned into a purple-y maroon. I remember I showed up at school and we had gotten our new soccer uniforms that day, and it was the exact color of our new jerseys. Everyone said, "Oh that's so cool." And I was like, "I have to change this immediately! This is not intentional!"

Any other hair color regrets? I had bleached hair for awhile. It was pretty bad.

Stephanie Pratt 'Shocked' At LC's Dropped Show

http://images.eonline.com/eol_images/Entire_Site/20091112/293.bosworth.pratt.conrad.lc.111209.jpgLauren Conrad isn't the only MTV starlet that has a bone to pick with the network.

Her former Hills pal, Stephanie Pratt, told Us Magazine Thursday she was just as disappointed when she heard they were scrapping plans for Conrad's documentary-style reality show that was set to focus on her upcoming fashion line.

"I was pretty shocked," Pratt, 24, said at the PETA's New York Fashion Week party. "I think it's such an inspirational show that people really get to see that dreams come true. I was really shocked. I thought it would have been great for kids to watch."

Conrad's bestie, Lo Bosworth, added that she has faith Conrad will land on her Louboutin-heeled feet.

"She's doing great," The Lo-Down author, 24, told Us. "I'm sure everything will work out in the end."

Of course, Conrad didn't take her disappointment lying down. After her show -- which was said to lack the drama and catfights of The Hills was dropped -- the designer, 25, fired back a statement to Us saying, in part, "We delivered the show that we sold and are sorry MTV didn't feel their viewers were savvy enough to appreciate it."

Whitney Port Clears Up The Lauren Conrad Feud

http://whitneyport.celebuzz.com//bfm_gallery/2011/02/Whitney-Port-Comments-On-Lauren-Conrad-Feud-021811/gallery_main/gallery_main-Whitney-Port-Comments-On-Lauren-Conrad-Feud-021811.JPG

With all the rumors of a Lauren Conrad / Whitney Port feud over Whit's show cancelation something had to be done! Whitney took to her official site to release the following statement:
"This week has been a little crazy with some funny nonsense that US Weekly has been circulating. I feel sometimes like I don't have to justify this stuff, but I just want to clear up that everything is more than fine between Lauren and me. So to put the rumor to rest, I wanted to let you know that there are no hard feelings between us! I shared something so amazing with her and just because the show is over doesn't mean our friendship is over!"

Whitney Blames Lauren For Canceled TV Show?

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyLfKLS8mPaVeVqeNjmp8K6302Kc_dZFa8KRp0KPqqVVNxirV5LN7sw8Vi00DhyphenhyphenRKsAtulNEmtUk9bqefiohJi5IMqAgMsNWrawtyGg4lBWD_EpXp1VNhbw6R-GdeHL93IFyQAKqJMsmmv/s1600/lauren+conrad+and+whitney+port.jpg

Though Whitney Port, 25, and Lauren Conrad, 25, were close pals on The Hills, an insider tells the new issue of Us Weekly (on stands now) that the two have gone their separate ways.

"Whitney is upset because she thinks that The City was canceled to make room for Lauren's new reality show," the source tells Us. "Whitney feels like she got the shaft."

(Ironically, Conrad's latest MTV venture was scrapped February 4 after the network deemed it too "high brow" for its current lineup.)
