Aspiring rapper Spencer Pratt was planning to pitch a song he wrote and performed about chicken wings to fast food chain KFC.

"Imagine for a moment that you're forced to do hard physical labor all day, seven days a week—whether it's sweltering hot or freezing cold outside. At the end of the day, instead of relaxing on [an] easy chair or sleeping in a comfortable bed, you are locked in a tiny closet all night long."

PETA's a serious animal rights organization committed to spreading the word that fur's bad, vegetarianism's good and Mr. Ed, Lassie and Beethoven (the dog, not the composer) were all exploited. And it's also the first thing Audrina Patridge and Jayde Nicole have seen eye-to-eye on since, well, the Brodester. Audrina shot a PSA for PETA a couple of months back and now the lovely Jayde's walking around in some skimpy lettuce and telling peeps to "veg" out. So does this mean we'll be seeing a truce between the girls anytime soon? Eh, probably not. Just last week, Jayde rehashed their feud via Twitter, plus we're guessing the non-meat eater was none too thrilled with Patridge's jucy Carl's Jr. spot.
Still, we gotta love seeing BOTH girls use their fame for a good cause! Check out Jayde's leafy lingerie (above), then take another look at Audrina's sexy/sweet "Angel For Animals" campaign.

Doing her part for a cause close to her heart, Jayde Nicole dropped by Capitol Hill on Wednesday (July 15) to mark National Veggie Dog Day. The 23-year-old Playmate of the Year joined up with Jo Garcia as they happily handed out the vegetarian treats at the Rayburn House Office Building while clad in a bikinis crafted out of “strategically placed lettuce leaves.”

Talking about the effort, Miss Nicole said, “In my business, looks can make you or break you, and nothing has helped me stay fit, trim, and energetic more than kicking the meat habit.” She adds, “The best way to safeguard your health, reduce your carbon footprint, save animals’ lives, and look your very best is to go vegetarian.”
Gracious for all of the support, upon finishing her PETA duties, Jayde tweeted: “I love Washington DC! Thanks to everyone who came out to support us… It was so much fun!!”
Today, for your dining pleasure, head to Capitol Hill to watch Playboy Playmate of the Year, Jayde Nicole, hand out veggie hot dogs while wearing only strategically placed lettuce leaves. Why, yes, this is the diabolical work of PETA in celebration of National Veggie Dog Day. Get there early to score your very own copy of PETA’s Vegetarian Starter Kit! Starts at noon.
