Lindsay Lohan, who has been spending time in New York City with her family, will have to cheer from California: The actress just arrived back in Los Angeles, but has recently professed her love of Sheen. On Thursday, she Tweeted how the former Two and a Half Men star cracks her up.

"Youre with a winner, you wont regret this"-charlie sheen as bud fox in Wall Street (winner-winning!) made me laugh lol," Lohan wrote.

Lindsay Lohan beat out Blake Lively AND Sienna Miller for her new role as Victoria Gotti -- and TMZ has learned ... Victoria herself made sure that happened.

Sources close to the production tell TMZ, producers were considering both Blake and Sienna for the role -- but John Gotti's famously blonde daughter wasn't having it, insisting Lindsay get the role instead ... and producers loved the idea.

Not all that surprising -- according to sources, Victoria is a good friend of the Lohan family ... and she often spends time with them on Long Island.

Meanwhile, Lindsay is currently in L.A. auditioning for "Superman" -- but we're told she already has a plane ticket back to NYC for April 12th ... to close the Gotti deal for good.

Lindsay Lohan could soon be a famous murder victim -- because TMZ has learned she's been offered the role of Sharon Tate in an upcoming movie about Charles Manson.

The movie's called "Eyes of a Dreamer" and is being produced by Brad Wyman ... one of the guys who did "Monster" with Charlize Theron.

The part of Charles Manson will be played by celeb photographer Tyler Shields -- whose work you might recognize -- and get this ... Tyler's directing the whole shebang.

So far, no word on whether Lindsay will accept.

Lindsay Lohan wins again ... at least according to Lindsay Lohan -- who believes the 911 call of the Betty Ford incident backs her version of what went down with Dawn Holland.

TMZ was first to publish the 911 call Lindsay made on December 12. On the recording, Lindsay and Dawn are heard having a heated argument ... and Dawn claims Lindsay hit her with the phone.

Sources close to Lindsay tell TMZ she feels the 911 call vindicates her because it makes Dawn seem "rude," "aggressive" and "inappropriate."

We're also told she thinks it proves Dawn was only after money from the start. Very early in the call Dawn says, "Get ready to be sued."

Ultimately, Lindsay does win -- earlier this week the Riverside County District Attorney's Office announced it would not file charges against Lindsay over the incident.

The jewelry store at the center of the Lindsay Lohan theft case is charging online users $2.99 to watch the surveillance video showing the actress alleging stealing a $2500 necklace, Radar Online is exclusively reporting.

The video, which was first obtained by The Associated Press and licensed to Entertainment Tonight, shows four different camera angles and is 42 minutes in length.

On necklacevideo.com, a representative associated with Kamofie & Company is promising to post “new content every day” and are attempting to seduce an audience to “come back tomorrow for more.”

“We will help you make-up your mind about what really happened,” the website brazenly declares.

It is yet another bizarre development from the Venice Beach, Calif., store which also attempted but failed to attract a book deal.

In an email promoting the website, necklacevideo.com declares that it can provide answers to whom to believe in the case and even whether Lohan, 24, will “someday win the Academy Award for Best Actress.”

“NecklaceVideo.com is disclosing everything,” it’s said, adding: “The entire video surveillance footage, the real nature of the necklace, the supposed dialogue between Lindsay and the salesgirl.”

TMZ has learned ... The Riverside County District Attorney has decided not to file criminal charges against Lindsay Lohan in connection with the altercation last December between Lindsay and a Betty Ford staffer.

Sources tell us the D.A. believes there is "insufficient evidence" to prosecute Lindsay.

The Palm Desert Police Department had been investigating the confrontation between Lindsay and former staffer Dawn Holland, but ultimately the D.A. felt the firepower wasn't there.

So Lindsay only has one criminal case in play now.

Lindsay Lohan's ex-flame Samantha Ronson was caught smooching a new woman and despite reports that Lindsay was upset about it, the Mean Girls star tells Radar Online she's not mad at all and she's friends with Sam's new woman.

"She's a friend of mine as well," Lindsay told Radar Online, referring to the brunette Sam was caught locking lips with last Thursday afternoon.

Sam's new girlfriend has been identified by Radar Online as 34-year-old yoga instructor Tiffany Russo, and despite the growing romance, Lindsay said she's still friends with Sam.

Ironically, Russo was once the bar manager at the Roosevelt Hotel's nightclub, Teddy's, where both Sam and Lindsay frequent.

The androgynous DJ was snapped in a passionate makeout session with the mystery woman, which reportedly sent her ex Lindsay Lohan into a rage.

And now we can name her as Tiffany Russo, a 34-year-old yoga instructor, who hasn't always been so smitten by the female form.

Divorce papers from 2006 confirm, Russo was married to her husband for seven years and four months and cited irreconcilable differences for the reason behind their split.

The flexible female was once the bar manager at the Roosevelt Hotel's nightclub, Teddy's, where ironically, Ronson and Lohan are regulars.

Russo's passion for yoga will explain why she was showing off her moves during the date with Ronson, when she took to the sidewalk to do some stretching, before getting hot and heavy in her car.

Lohan was reportedly left 'hurt' by the public clinch between the two. Ronson and Lohan dated for nearly a year in 2009 and are now neighbors in Venice, CA.

Diddy did it. So did Madonna and Prince, and now you can add Lindsay Lohan to the list of celebrities who are opting for a single moniker, with the troubled star's mom, Dina, confirming to me that Lindsay plans to remove "Lohan" from her official name.

"Lindsay is dropping the Lohan and just going by Lindsay," Dina tells me, exclusively. "Plus, me and [younger daughter] Ali will be officially changing our last names back to my maiden name, Sullivan."

Lindsay had been thinking about dropping her surname for some time but at first thought no one would know who she was. It was only after the infamous Super Bowl E-trade advertisement referring to a baby as "that milkaholic Lindsay," that the actress knew she no longer needed it.

"So many of the greatest people in showbiz are known by just their first name. Look at Oprah and Beyonce. Now you can add Lindsay to that list," a family friend tells me. "And it's a way for them all to start over. No one in the family want anything to do with Lindsay's father [Michael Lohan] anymore and that includes sharing a last name."

Lindsay Lohan never had any intention of agreeing to a plea deal and accepting guilt for allegedly stealing a $2,500 necklace from a Venice Beach jewelers, her mom Dina told Radar Online in an exclusive new interview.

Lindsay's powerhouse attorney Shawn Holley formally notified the District Attorney and Judge Keith Schwartz on Wednesday that her client would not accept the plea deal, and although her team waited until the final hours to reject the offer, Dina said her daughter never even entertained the idea of copping a plea.

"She was never going to plead guilty to a crime she didn't commit," Dina told Radar Online.

"All along Lindsay has never wavered regarding her innocence."

In a statement to Radar Online, Holley said that many people felt Lindsay should take the plea, and advised her to do so, but that she was confident the Mean Girls star would be triumphant after having her day in court.

"Though many advised her to follow the safe route by taking 'the deal,' the truth is, Ms. Lohan is innocent; she has a strong defense; and we are confident that a jury will listen to the evidence fairly and acquit her," Holley said.

Dina is also confidant with Lindsay's decision and says that she is sure the surveillance tape from the jewelry store will vindicate her daughter.

"I saw the entire security tape, and it showed the necklace clearly being loaned to Lindsay," Dina claims.

The 24-year-old actress will now appear in front of Judge Stephanie Sautner on Friday, April 22 for her preliminary hearing.

Lindsay Lohan's powerhouse attorney, Shawn Holley, is proclaiming her embattled client's innocence and declares that LiLo will be acquitted by a jury.

In a statement released to Radar Online, Holley says: "Ms. Lohan has maintained her innocence from the moment this case was filed and she has never wavered.

"Though many advised her to follow the safe route by taking 'the deal,' the truth is, Ms. Lohan is innocent; she has a strong defense; and we are confident that a jury will listen to the evidence fairly and acquit her."

Holley formally notified the DA and Judge Keith Schwartz on Wednesday that Lindsay wasn't going to be accepting the plea deal that would have included jail time.

Lohan will now appear in front of Judge Stephanie Sautner on April 22 for her preliminary hearing.

Sources close to the case tell Radar Online that it's likely only investigating officers will be called by Deputy District Attorney Danette Meyers.

At the conclusion of the preliminary hearing, Judge Sautner will also determine if Lindsay violated terms of her probation, which could send Lohan back to jail for at least six months.

Lindsay Lohan is gambling that a jury will believe her side of the story: That she's no thief.

The actress has turned down a plea deal that included jail time and opted to move toward a trial in her felony grand theft case, Los Angeles prosecutors confirmed Wednesday.

Lohan, 24, is accused of stealing a $2,500 necklace from a Venice, Calif., store. Sources close to Lohan contend she believed the necklace was loaned to her, a version of events refuted by the store's owners.

A preliminary hearing, in which testimony is heard and a judge decides if there's enough evidence for a trial, is set to begin on April 22.

If convicted, Lohan faces a maximum of three years in prison. She also faces the possibility of jail time if a judge decides she violated her probation in a DUI case.

Lohan's attorney, Shawn Holley, could not be reached for comment.

Lindsay Lohan’s catastrophic catwalk collection for French design house Ungaro never saw the light of day in swanky department stores and boutiques, but Imaginary Socialite recently spotted her splashy styles on eBay.

While no pasties are currently being sold through the eBay retailer stylebug.com, the designer store has a few of the bright pink mini dresses from the Spring 2010 collection, which Lohan collaborated on with former Ungaro designer Estrella Archs as the Artistic Director.

While Ungaro’s fashions usually retail in the thousands, the Lohan collection is being sold at bargain basement prices. A bright pink one-shoulder dress can be yours for $442.50 -- or best offer!

Soon after the critically panned collection debuted at Paris Fashion Week in October 2009, Elle Magazine reports that the French fashion house closed most of its boutiques, and major department stores like Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus cleared their shelves of the line.

In March 2010, Ungaro owner Asim Abdullah announced that Lohan was no longer involved with the company.

Lindsay Lohan is rolling the dice, whether she plea bargains her grand theft case or goes to trial, because even if she cops a plea, the judge could still throw the book at her.

TMZ broke the story ... Judge Keith Schwartz has indicated he would give Lindsay 3 months in jail if she cops a plea. That sentence translates to 19 days because of jail overcrowding.

But sources connected with the case tell TMZ ... Judge Schwartz reserved the right to change the sentence depending on the evidence that surfaces during Friday's hearing. And here's the bad news for Lindsay.

-- We've learned prosecutor Danette Meyers -- who is asking for 6 months in jail -- will argue Lindsay's performance on probation has been "unsatisfactory." She has missed AA meetings, gone to class with tea laced with alcohol and missed court appearances.

-- As TMZ reported on February 9, Meyers will allege Lindsay has a history of stealing -- a $12,000 mink coat in 2008, a $400,000 necklace in 2009, and a $35,000 Rolex in 2010.

-- The judge will read and consider Lindsay's probation report. As TMZ first reported, there is information in that report which is extremely damaging to Lindsay, and could impact her sentence.

If the judge feels Lindsay's conduct is worse than he thought when he met with Shawn Holley a few weeks ago, he could up the sentence ... possibly to 6 months.

And here's the biggest problem for Lindsay. If she accepts the plea, Schwartz will place Lindsay on 3 years probation. And what are the chances Lindsay Lohan can stay out of trouble for 3 years?

Lindsay Lohan has a history of stealing -- that's what the Los Angeles District Attorney will tell a judge who will decide whether to send the Mean Girls star to jail or not, Radar Online has exclusively learned.

Lindsay Lohan's lawyer must notify Judge Keith Schwartz by Wednesday, March 23 if she plans on taking a plea deal, and Radar Online is exclusively reporting that if the actress doesn't take the plea deal, Deputy District Attorney Danette Meyers will include as part of her case, past incidents in which Lindsay has been accused of theft.

"There is very damaging information about Lindsay's past evidence of thefts, including a stolen Rolex, which a friend of hers reported as stolen last April 2010, which will be made public if Lindsay doesn't take the plea deal. Lindsay was investigated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department last spring after a friend reported that after leaving the Rolex at Lohan's apartment, it wasn't returned immediately. Actually, it was quite a bit of time later that the watch was returned to the person. The watch was valued at a whopping, 35k, and like the current theft case, Lindsay was photographed wearing the watch. Lindsay wasn't charged in that case because the victim became uncooperative as soon as the watch was returned. The D.A. will be sending investigators out from the office to talk to the victim. Meyers wants to know if there was a financial pay off" a source close to the situation tells us.

Lohan, 24, was also accused of stealing a mink coat from Maria Markova in New York City in January 2008. Markova said at the time that Lohan took the coat at a nightclub, 1 Oak. The coat was valued at $12k. Markova claimed she was sitting next to Lohan at the club when the coat was allegedly stolen. Markova said the next time she saw the coat, Lohan was wearing it in a magazine picture. Lindsay was not criminally charged in that incident either. "Meyers will be reviewing that information as well. It will absolutely be brought up either at the preliminary hearing or the trial. This will establish a pattern of behavior on, that Meyers will prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Lindsay is guilty in this case."

"It doesn't matter that Lindsay wasn't criminally charged in those previous incidents. Meyers can, and will subpoena police that investigated those, and as well as the accusers if she needs to. Lindsay has major entitlement issues, which have led her down this very dark road. If Lindsay is smart, she will take the plea deal. Lindsay won't know what will hit her if the case proceeds to a preliminary hearing, and trial. Meyers is tough as nails, make no mistake about it. Lindsay truly has no idea how bad this could get, and how fast. This could truly ruin her career. Look at the (Winona) Ryder case, her career suffered after the guilty conviction, and she didn't have the criminal record that Lindsay has," the source says.
