Brody Jenner was a knight in shining armor for his ex-girlfriend, Playboy Playmate Jayde Nicole, after "The Hills" series finale in Los Angeles last week. According to a spy, Jenner, who's now dating Avril Lavigne, hung out with Nicole until 4 a.m. at LA club My Studio. 

The old flames then hopped in a cab together and headed home. "Nicole had a lot to drink," said a source. "Brody was being super protective of her and wanted to make sure she got home safely." Brody went home alone after dropping his ex off.
